We haven’t been getting a lot of sleep lately due to the recent activity.
I wrote a letter to our lawyer at 2AM:
I think it’s safe to say that she’s(Heather) feeling pretty tormented right now. We’ve been putting up a strong front lately carrying on but the past year has taken its toll. I’m seriously considering renewing therapy sessions, but it’s going to be tough doing that when driving there and back means risking encountering these people on the road. Heather feels like a prisoner in her own home.
We need resolution one way or another. We’re running out of steam and this situation is becoming sloppy. We’ve resorted to putting up massive signs and yelling at people. That’s not how we were conducting ourselves a year ago!
We were all out of steam. We turtled up:
- All of our shades are closed.
- We pulled our car all the way up in the driveway.
- We put the sign back up since Al seems to be coordinating responses with the aid of others.
- We will not be leaving the home.
We then awaited a response from our lawyer and what she finds out from USPS leadership.
Later that morning, Sharon drove by again, again after being instructed to stay away from our home last year. She didn’t deliver at all on that street.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from disobeying management’s instructions, I guess.
